On the afternoon of 7th April, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Wang Aiwu, Secretary General Jiang Xingdai with Anqing Municipal Government, and Director General Xu Xiaochun with the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, Mayor Chen Bingbing of People's Government of Anqing Municipality arrived at Anqing Foreign Language School to check and guide the returning to school and resuming classes for the twelfth grade as well as the novel coronavirus prevention and control work. Anqing Foreign Language School's President Madam Huang Wenli introduced in details the work arrangements of returning to school and resuming classes and provided detailed answers to relevant questions raised by Mayor Chen Bingbing with regard to Anqing Foreign Language School's characteristic development.
To be concrete, Mayor Chen Bingbing successively visited Anqing Foreign Language School's observation room for epidemic prevention and control, classrooms of Senior Grade Three, student canteen, dormitories and material storage room to have a detailed understanding of Anqing Foreign Language School's preparations for COVID-19 prevention and control and the resumption of classes for the 12th grade students. Mayor Chen Bingbing walked through every classroom of Grade 12 and felt quite satisfied when he saw teachers and students wore masks in class and were full of spirit and energy after returning to school. In the meantime, Mayor Chen Bingbing pointed out with concern that all the doors and windows in the classroom should be opened to let the air fully circulate; In the observation room, Mayor Chen Bingbing cordially communicated with the guiding doctors, and highly affirmed the standard, warm arrangement and sufficient material reserve. Also, Mayor Chen Bingbing went into the canteen and dormitory, and looked at the space between the dining and queuing signs. In the dormitory, he saw neat and uniform daily necessities, clean bathrooms and air conditioning. In addition, Mayor Chen Bingbing was interested to ask the meaning of the school emblem embroidered on the bedsheet. He hoped that Anqing Foreign Language School would further overcome difficulties, separate the eight-bed room into four-bed room during the special period to further achieve relative dispersion.
